I have downloaded Glovepie, Installed a Bluetooth Dongle, and I've just bought a Nintendo Wii, I am prob the last person on this Globe whose bought one, but i digress.

I have managed to use the Viral hack that everyone Is using get it working, and It rocks.
I have used the Wiimote Joystick Emulation on the mouse cursor, but i cant take advantage of the IR Scripts because I haven't made the Sensor bar yet.
Yes you can use Candles, but I don't want to inadvertently set off the smoke detector, and using a AA battery, Homemade Sensor bar, or using Candles, both aren't as good for the environment as Homemade USB Powered Sensor bar would be.

I thinking if all the above is possible then it must be possible to control the Wii with a keyboard and mouse.

Maybe one could write the code, for a program that send's the expected Bluetooth data to the Wii, so you could play your games w/ a mouse.
Who thinks this would be possible??
Also the sensor bar doesn't do any sensing, it just emits IR apparently.

I don't really know the format, and what type of position data, the Bluetooth remote emits from its bluetooth connection with the Wii, but I'm sure it must be physically possible to emulate that data with a mouse.

All i know is it prob(I'm guessing) it uses some maths of the two points from the 8 Leds to Triangulate the Wiimotes XY position, then i would Assume it would use the Parallax from the IR beam to work out the Z axis position.

Anyone tried to hack a mouse to work with the Wii?
It would the the Ultimate, and undetectable cheat on Multiplayer.

why on earth do you purchase a Wii when u want to play it as if the games are pc based? u might aswell just build the disc reader from your wii into your pc, same for the harddrive in ur wii as itll prolly contain some software needed to read the discs.. maybe just search up some emulator or write one.. find someone to write one if ya cant do it urself... then connect ya disc reader from the Wii to ya pc... since ya already bought a wii might be smart to combine it wif ya pc :p if ya hadnt bought it i'd say get an emulator.. the thing ur trying is just.. well.. kinda redicules :)

Simple.

My Current Computer doesn't have enough memory/Isn't good enough to play Modern games.
Whether It's the Memory or some other factor, my Current computer just plain refuses to play modern games.

I don't know why, like i said before in my earlier posts, the graphics adapter on my good computer blew up.

I can't replace my Old PC, because i don't have £1400 to spare.

It's why I will NEVER be Putting WiiHomebrew, or WiiLinux, on my Wii (I have had enough expensive PC's ****ing up, to learn the Fundamental Rule(Its an engineering one I beleive)

"The more cogs/variables/functions thrown into any closed system the higher the probability it has to mess up"

:=)

...........So my Games Console will last 999999999 years like every SMUG 14 year old's ColecoVision has.......
.........thus far.....thus preceding.....as of yet......as of 22/10/2009......
^o) ^o) ^o)

Also Like I mentioned earlier it would be a great way to cheat/hack on Multiplayer games, if i have the aiming precision of my mouse while everyone else is struggling to keep there Wiimote steady getting annoyed and frustrated with me, because I am taking them out so quickly with my WiiMouse and Nunchuck.

The people I played on The Conduit Server's must have hands as steady as Fvcking a T-600, I watched them on spectator, and it Looked Practically Unnatural, the way they could get the Aiming reticule over there opponents head so quickly, using a Wiimote, thats humanly Impossible.

I am pretty sure they were hacking, My suspicions were confirmed when there teams score suddenly jumped from 40 to 2600, at which point i left the server.

Or you could upgrade your old PC with a new CPU, Video Card, and Power Supply for just over a few hundred dollars...

Whatever that translates into your currency

Upgrade your computer:

Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130435

Power Supply:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019

Memory, 4gigs:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019

Mother Board & CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.273664

About: $390.95, 259.98 EUR, or 235.09 GBP.

Or keep your old Mother Board, and it's: $310.96, 206.80 EUR, or 186.99 GBP.

That'll run a lot of good games, not Crysis, but still get you good games with good FPS. And with that set up you could always get a much better graphics card for a few more. I think that card was, what? $70? For $60 more you could start getting into beast cards.

Just saying.

Hope your Wii never breaks.

haha you obviously haven't played with a 360 =P

I didn't think the wii had that great of multiplayer to have someone want to hack it to cheat a bunch of 10 year olds & japanese out of their hard earned top scores.

but seriously if you're spending this much time trying to do something on the wii you could of built your own pc. it really isn't difficult, and it's funny how scared people are to open their computer cases...

the biggest selling point about the wii is the physical side, and how easily that physical aspect converts into fun in multiplayer mode. Ie, it is possible to play the wii and actually have friends at the same time. Why do you want to change that?

I laugh at this.

It's the user, not the system.

Have made multiple good friends that way.

And I play FPS all the time.

It's the player, not the system or game. We have good times, and we don't take the game so literally like other people do. If you can actually have fun while doing it, you won't be a drone. You can't blame it on the game/system because the player takes the game so seriously that when he dies he goes into a pissy-fit.

maybe, i just prefer being outside with mates playing soccer or footy or blowing stuff up or just being idiots in general. I find it a lot more fun and personally rewarding than watching an idiot box for hours on end. YMMV
