I think he may be onto something there.
Say to much and it may become cheesy but he needs to extend this and keep it building up
he does occasionaly say "its everything you ever dreamed off" which is good but i reckon with the music and words we build on this
heres my version:
If you love hardcore yeah
and your addicted to the core, you been waiting for this moment your whole life
now is the time, together as one, hardcore is your religion, your life, everything you have ever dreamed of everything you've ever wanted, more than music, better than life, 1 step closer, higher and higher, keep the faith, keep the fire burning, bounce higher, work harder, enjoy life, peace, love, unity, to infinity and beyond, WHOS WITH ME..........
Or any words that just keeps building up that don't turn cheesy.
Any MC's out there wanna give me there version. Go on!

Nice sentiment but it's ridiculous to suggest that Hardcore is anywhere near as important as that. I'm all for MC's getting the crowd going but if i ever heard anything like that i'd piss myself!
Works if you're on drugs and gullible. In the real world - it's just words.

all i'll say is cheese is besides the point. if writin properly and PERFORMED properly, that type of motivational speech will go down well with any crowd. its not to be taken litterally, but to try and put words to a feeling, and to give feeling to the crowd.
i sometimes compare it to a pre-game speech for my hockey team. lots of cliche and one liners, but ya know what? my team is ALWAYS ready to go ;)
im not gonna write my version as it would be pointless unless recorded

Luckily, my scene has 1 MC, and he rarely performs. An MC is ok at an event if they speak sparingly. I probably would have bought True Hardcore 2 if it hadnt had been for the mcing over the tracks.

When did everyone become so boring? MC's are great at events. If your listening at home then well, what do you expect. That's not the point of an MC. Just because certain MC's demand more or as much attention as the music, dosn't mean that thats what MC'ing is about. People like Ribbz are an absolutely brilliant addition to any set.
