Is it still made? Back in the early to mid 90's there seemed to be some wicked German Hardcore. Blumchen, Interactive, Marusha, Alien Factcory, Microwave Prince etc... I think the UK sound of today got a lot of influence from Germany with Hardcore too, when you listen to all the Trance type rave tracks out.

Well the ones you have mentioned wouldn`t have been referred to as Hardcore
im not sure about the German scene now tbh but i think they are mostly into Hard Trance

There are some german UK Hardcore artists like Bo for example ( who was on the Bonkers ), but it doesn't sound different from the british stuff.
Those who are into Drum & Bass will know Panacea, from Germany, great producer, who also made some Hardcore Tracks, like this absolutely WICKED remix of a CLSM track :

Exactly....Hardcore and Happy Hardcore are different...well to me anyway
i still refer to todays UK Hardcore as Happy Hardcore

Happy Hardcore is a subgenre of Hardcore … likes Breaks, Freeform or Gabber.
It's like saying Liquid and Drum & Bass are not the same thing.

well back in the 90`s i just referred to Gabba as Hardcore and not Gabba
and then you had Happy Hardcore
for example Bass X i would have said done both....Hardcore and Happy Hardcore
Bass X - Hardcore Disco.....Happy Hardcore
Bass X - Exterminate.....Hardcore

well i can`t help the way i was brought up 
thats why i still refer to most of todays uk Hardcore as Happy Hardcore
