Basically all of it. Except pengo records, that was an ok label.
Alot of the Pengo tunes where similar to the Uk stuff, an there where (as I pointed out) Uk versions of Pengo tunes. Critical Mass Burning Love - UK Remixes on Jumpin Pumpin & Hyperactive - Let me play & Brisk & Ham - Eurolove was a remix of Wonderland - Fantasy of Love.
For a lebel that ran only 3 years, Pengo is stillr egarded as one of the most popular labels to ever come out on the rave scene in the 90s!

Most Dutch happy stuff is pretty bad compared to the UK stuff. It's really watered down and over commercialised. There is some REALLY good tunes though (like from Dune for example), but most of it is poor. Good music in it's own right but it's not anything like UK stuff really.

Dune is a German Hardcore act lol The German stuff is similar to the Dutch stuff, more Tranceore in some ways but you had cheesy popcore (Scooter) & the harder more Gabber likr stuff hidden away. The German based Happy Rave CD series was a mixture of stuff usualy German & Dutch stuff on the happier end of the scale.

ehm.
Most of the Happy Hardcore / Happy Rave CD's had the exact same tracklist, except for most Happy Rave had one or two tracks more.
I dont really like the dutch stuff, but there's some tracks that sticks out from the, as hard2get said, over commercialised songs.
here's a few i like/love/loved:
Cherrish - Journey trough the night
James Daltan - Strangers
Mainframe - Future generation
No Velocity - 31 Seconds Of Your Time
Dr.Phil Omanski - Feeling
UFO - All We Do is Rave (technically, this would be UK, but considering it's released on a Dutch label... correct me if I'm wrong :P)

Well that just proves my point dosn't it :P I'm not talking about Gabber stuff or stuff that's anything like Gabber, i'm talking about commercial happy stuff.

this seems like a silly topic. you are comparing songs that use the same sample and trying to compare what country was better? the countries had different production styles & most of these are produced several years apart from the other.
bottom line, both countries produced some crap tunes & both produced some stompers.
