Does anyone else here have real problems focusing on exam revision?

My first semester exams start two weeks today, yet I'm completely unable to focus on revision. Maybe it's because I've got a couple of weeks yet, I'm not sure; but I really can't concentrate.

Anyone else suffer from this highly irritating problem?

Reading is a poor way to revise. Instead, read sections at a time, and write down on a separate piece of paper the main points. It helped me quite allot, I was able to revive my seemingly dead a levels because of hours of revising at colchester library :D

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to. However, I get a few notes down, perhaps a couple of case and then start skiving!

Generally, before the exam, I have my list of points and cases, then read over them continually until they're all in my mind.

i found that reading the textbook and taking the main notes down helped me loads during my A/S levels, but i was doing chemistry, maths, biology and physics.. so i don't know how that would help with another subject.

ive got my final exams in june though, so i need to sort my revision out! so i can get my AAB, bowl into manchester uni and start my msci in physics and quantum phenomena :P

If you read a book, start with the titles and subtitles, then ask yourself questions about the following topic to motivate yourself. Then read the whole section, and if you are ready sum the main points. It is the PQRST-method: Preview, Question, Read, Self-recite and Test. Google it if you need more information about it.

Another good thing is making Mind-maps to sum the main points in a well-visualizable way.

Good luck!
