Freeformation are in the final run up to their biggest and most specular event to date – Rockin stocking at the awesome ‘Area’ club in Vauxhall which boasts over 30 lazers and 4 arenas.
With over 40 huge acts confirmed, it's no wonder earlybird tickets sold out in record time and now after pay day the saver tickets are flying out the door like rockets! Headlining the Harddance zone at Freeformation are the awesome organ Donors. The Organ Donors reign as kings of the hard scene and continue to set standards both in the studio with their cutting edge productions and on the world stage with their pioneering Audio Surgery Live shows, this year had seen the boys release their 3 artist album to critical acclaim, a monumental remix album "Under the Knife" which seen the boys remixed by 30 of todays most current and respected artists inc Scot Project, Zany, Mark Sherry, Will Atkinson to name a few. They also globe-trotted their unique sound to sell out tours in Auz, Ibiza, Norway, Sweden, Arizona, Germany, Malaysia and of course kept the torch lit on the UK scene week in week out.
2009 also saw the industry legends launch their new custom built Recording Studio & DJ Skool 'The Audio Surgery', a cutting edge Dj & production facility run by a selection of pro Tutors, Dj’s & Engineers. The Organ Donors are allocating time from their crazy schedule for coaching & studio hire, to help drive new faces into the business and stimulate the scenes new talent pool! The Surgery studio's opened to coincide with the launch of their new record label Audio Surgery Records which has already taken the scene by storm with both the first releases topping the hard dance chart at No:1 for a combined and uncommon 3 weeks!
Freeformation can’t wait to house the organ Donors – they are true legends at performing live with more tricks and special FX to throw at you then any other harddance act. Australian bred S3rl – pronounced ‘Serl’ for those not in the know has literally shaken the current worldwide hardcore scene to the bone with his stand out productions.
Back in 2006, his track ‘Transformerz’ caught the ear of Kevin Energy at the NEC. This was to be the start of an exciting production and DJ career which is built solely on the foundations of pure musical skill and talent!
S3Rl – real name Jole quickly followed up his release for the NEC on Relentless Vinyl with a solo EP featuring the tracks ‘Weekend’ and ‘Into Overdrive, but his biggest and most famous track has to be the totally catchy and awesome ‘Pretty Rave Girl.’ It was in this track that Jole really sealed his stand out style for catchy vocals and large riffs. ‘Pretty
rave Girl’ has been the single most requested track on the NEC’s labels and gained tens of thousands of plays on Jole MySpace page!
S3Rl is multi talented with his productions. Not only does he seal his own unique style with vocal and triplet edged tracks, he is also firing up some seriously hot, hard and underground edged tracks gaining huge support from a wide range of DJ’s like Sharkey, Marc Smith, Kevin Energy and more. His recent production T T Techno is quickly becoming a high point in any rave night it’s played at!
As a DJ S3RL, is highly motivated and skilled. Always on a level with the crowd and willing to entertain, he fires tracks at you quickly and with precise skill. Due to the obvious long distance from the UK to Australia, S3RL has previously never DJ’d in the UK until now. Be sure to catch him at Freeformation where he will tear the place apart. Diablo Traxx – A name that any hardened hard dance fan would have heard being talked about; A name that all modern producers have a respect for and one that is causing some serious damage on the dancefloors of many events in London, and up and down the country.
Made up of a collective of DJ’s – rather like the NEC, the Diablo Traxx Boys and Girls have been injecting some fresh edged harddance into the scene at a time when people were looking for something fresh – good timing hey!
A string of quality releases on their record labels has revived a new sense of faith into DJ’s around the globe but more notably the live PA performance of the Diablo Traxx live PA have offered a glimpse of what’s to come….. the answer – some seriously cool new harddance music! Well produced original concepts and sounds put together with thought and precision! Artists like Above and Rob O.T.T have contributed largely to the success alongside a string of other fresh acts which combine perfectly to create the bigger picture.
More recently Kevin Energy wrote alongside the Diablo boys to create a monster called ‘Acid House’ which was immediately snapped up for the Tidy Christmas album mix by Anne Savage!
Freeformation are proud to host a Dj set from ‘Above’ - a member of this talented group of artists. The Diablo Traxx crew will rock Freeformation on December the 12th and as a special treat for you, we are offering a special DJ Mix right here!
