I recently just got a pair... glad I did... odd that they did this because Vinyl purchases are actually on the rise and Digital Vinyl Control is getting popular.

curious as to what dmc is going to do seeing as they only use technics.

The new standard will obviously be Stanton 150s :p
I imagine this will make second hand tech12s considerably more expensive than new ones cost now. Kind of like the TB303 etc

i saw a facebook group on this a while ago, dunno why people like to cause panic/not give the whole story
its only certain versions of the 1210 that they are discontinuing!
the 1210mk5 will remain or somthing...along with a few others
