Ok so I'm coming to England (again) solely for this event :)
It's gonna be my first ever hardcore rave too, quite excited but I have a couple of questions:
At what time should I be at the NEC? Just in time or earlier? I want to avoid staying in the cold for too long. I think the queue will be massive?
I don't think there is, but is there some kind of dress code? Something I should avoid wearing? As much as I like Liverpool I don't think I'll put that shirt on, even though I've seen many people with football shirts at raves. A friend got his nose broken on NYE because he was wearing the wrong scarf. I'm there for the music nothing else! So I'll resort to whistles and glow sticks only ;)
Alcohol will be quite expensive I suppose?
Any other advice regarding the event?
Also are there any Birmingham locals who want to share their favourite pubs/locations?
I'll be staying around New Street.

Ive never been but I can guarantee that alcohol will be expensive and the bar will be packed, so buy 2/3 bottles at a time.
Get there a bit early as there will definitely be a queue. I once queued for 1hr 30 mins in winter for a rave, really annoying.
No dresscode, you like it, you wear it....but I wouldnt wear a football shirt tbh, a football shirt along with a foreign accent could unfortunately just be asking for trouble.
Also....Birmingham used to be a shithole but is apparantly alot better now
Most Importantly.....have a good time!

The que was entirely indoors last year so no waiting in the cold. Guessing it will be the same again. We tend to arrive slightly late but then we're not going to another country for the party!
