Right eventually im going to be getting a lot of tattoo's (when i get the money) and i have alot of bad scars on my left arm and IF it can be done i'm planning on getting tattoo's over them. But everyone iv asked seems to have a different answer on weather its possible or not. I have a very high threshold for pain so that isn't a problem i just want to know if its possible.
So does anyone know?
Anyone had a tattoo over a scar?
If it is possible, do the scars need to be a certain amount of time old?
:)

Yeah you can get ink over scars and stretch marks to hide them.
I'm getting a piece on my back to cover stretch marks!

Ah i also have keloid scar on my neck.:S I think if you have that sensitive skin, its better to ask your doctor, to know if there is a chance to have more scars by the tattoo. If you don't, then you can have a composition around that scar, lol.

Think of it like this...
a keloid is just when you get an injury (or piercing, they're common with peircings) and instead of your body just healing the skin back, its OVERgrows.
