What Wilky means is: nobody no matter how clever or thick you are can calculate how many years humans have roamed the earth. Nor can you calculate the distance between the sun & earth... Shit like that im on about, its all just made up crap.

Also, i did state some & not all, did i not?

yes you can...

carbon dating of fossils and observations aided with equations.

you just spoke a load of shit

you just spoke a load of shit

carbon dating is only somewhat accurate up to 50000 years. past that there is so little carbon 14 left its pointless. there are other dating methods, most as dodgy as each other. currently the oldest human civilisatioin is supposedly about 80000 years old near on the indian peninsula. as for actual existance and nomadic wandering, no one knows. people can guess, but its a guess and no more

"the ever weakening mass of the Sun as it expands."

do explain to me, how the sun's mass weakens? I have never heard that one before.

wilky: it can be measured and has been, its called the astronomical unit (AU) is close enough to 150 million kilometres. the current best guess for the AU is 149 597 870 700 metres.

Yea but at the end of your last comment you state its a guess and thats all it can be... It can not be measured/calculated

the guess part that i said was that it was xxx 700 metres. As it is, over the course of a year, the distance varies. but it is close enough to 150 million kilometres to be counted as such and that is *fact*. They might not have the exact distance down to the last centimeter, but close enough is good enough, and 150 mill is damn close.

And yes it actually can be measured/calculated, they measure it by radar which involves measuring the time taken for light from the sun to bounce off an object (ie. planet) and reach the measuring device (space probe or telescope or whatever) and then calculated with the known location of the planet at the time. You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronomical_unit#Modern_determinations

Tbh he comes across as a twat and it doesn't take a scientist to prove that to be true.
