Things are proving hard to get back into as far as swimmings concerned...
My last 100m freestyle race was on the 12th December, and I swam it okay... I was in a terrible lane (closest) and wasn't feeling too hot.. I had been awake since 6am, and had like 10 sugar rushes prior to this race, so I was in bad form. However, I got in and swam an average race. I think I came 4/5th in the end, with a time of 59.30, 1.10 seconds off my PB (set last year). This video is quite a close-up one. I swim very close to the camera haha, and its in HD!!!

After that race, I was in a right mood. After the amount of effort I put in, I'd have really liked another 58... Oh well... I can't stand these big official gala's... I dont do too well under pressure with expectations. When my coach says 'go for a 57' I panic haha. I'm more relaxed and perform better in more casual environments. Like the first video I posted...
The week prior to that I swam a 59.8 at Clements Hall in Southend (my first ever swimming club!!!). I didnt get a vid of it, but Got a video of a relay which was pretty fun. I went first out of the 4 of us:
Training-wise, things are badish... We have started to do land based training (core training and press-ups and all that). I'm a skinny tall mother** and suck at that kinda stuff haha. That's been a bit of a put-off. Also, college work, revision, dentist visits and staff training have stopped me from training consistently since mid december. I need to knuckle down, strengthen up and get my times down :)
As for Sudbury, I'm still questioning how much of a good idea that'd be... They are a strict club, and whilst I know I'm fast enough, I don't know if I'm committed enough... Though aspects of Halstead are driving me more toward Sudbury... There are swimmers who I thought I liked saying they want to run me down on their status updates... bleurgh haha
