since when have ebay made it so you cant charge postage?
im listing tape packs and it wont let me list if i add postage, which is pure shit..

i think it all comes down to what category you put the item in now
i remember somewhat of the same thing when i was selling some vinyl, it wasnt just ONE piece - it was like 30odd, and it would only let me charge to the price of one piece, unless i put it in a different categorie or mark it as a "courier:see item description"

Mite try that. Lookin at other tapepacks they all have free postage.. Bit of a con. Not used ebay for years

i know that if you sell on half.com, which is owned by ebay, that there is a set shipping cost already in place, and it can't be changed.
i sold some dvds back in june and i didn't have a problem like this. you should be able to change it on your postage and handling part of selling. other than that i don't kno how else to resolve this issue. it is pretty messed up tho that they have a set price for media

what a piss take.. defo not listing my vinyl.. ebay now is w way to lose money on bloody postage, nevermind make it.
if i list a tape pack itsgoin to cost me atleast 5 before anyone bids.. then if it only sells for 99p i've lost 4 so whats the ****in point?

Found a way around it, if ou ever come accross this problem in the future then do this..
When choosing catagories click on "everything else" then "other"
the only problem with that is unless people search for that perticular thing then chances are it wont sell...

i think they are trying to stop people making profit through postage (as so many people try and do)
you see some vinyl on there for reasonable prices, and other people charging way more
i managed to miss an auction for 119pieces of vinyl that was going for 50 with 20 flat fee shipping
but yet there are people out there charging 3.50 just for one piece of vinyl

1 vinyl is 3.50 tho p&p. If i was to list mine at free postage and it sells for 99p then i have to pay the postage, thats ****ed up

I sent 1 to usa last week almost 5... 1 to nottingham just under 4.50
