Yor8 ppl!
Ive not been into Hardcore as much recently due to all this euro-cheesy sped-up basshunter hardcore remix shit that seems to be catching the eye of the popularity.
What is really going on?
Has Hardcore simply molded itself into all the AATW shit or is there a channel of artists who are carrying the better stuff on. I can't seem to find any decent stuff nowadays and I used to DJ hardcore like a man on crack a few months back.
Listening to my Bonkers 3 cd's at the moment and it's had me thinking thats all. Oh, and I'm pissed as well.
Please, fill me in! Why has Hardcore gone shit? Or has it?

I think it's a domino effect of the base being broken and thus the music being broken.
You've got party-goers interested in the music, party-goers interested in having a blast, primarily home listeners, freeform fans, regular fans, cheese fans, kandy kids, producers, speedcore fans, oldschool fans, older listeners, younger listeners etc., and it seems like none of them are too fond of the others almost all of them want to murder each other. That's how I see it.

Well, Nukleuz, Ministry of Sound, and Hardcore Underground are/were some good outlets for more underground artists.

Made me laugh too LOL
What's going on is that produces started making music to sell instead for the sake of making music. It's really that simple. Once people stop liking it and the novetly wears off (already is) we can get back to some proper music. Although aside from that the music has evolved somewhat, but that's only a minor thing by comparison.

To actually answer your question there is some good hardcore still, check out hardcore Underground 4 and Crush On Hardcore 4
there is less good stuff now, but still some really great new stuff
and as for the Nukeluz comments I thought that hardcore nation 2009 wasn't terrible
sure there were quite a few bad tracks but there were really good ones too imo
