Hi people,
I need your help/knowledge!
I have just discovered this track: http://www.youtube.com/watch#playnext=1&playnext_from=TL&videos=WyLxfvVsxk4&v=M_Wk6A8vrMc I absolutely love it. I guess I knew that J-core existed, but I've never heard any, and certainly never actively gone looking for it. After hearing this song, though, I need more! I've done a quick bit of browsing, and it seems there's a popular series called J-Core Masterz. I'm struggling to find out any more than that though. I can't find any download stores. There is, though, a website called www.j-core.biz It seems to sell a lot of J-Core, but only CD & vinyl. It's not clear if these CDs are unmixed though, which is what I'm after. Does anyone like/know anything about J-Core? Any information would be massively appreciated! Cheers!

Aaanyway, dont know about download sites, only buy CD's myself.

Thanks for the suggestions.
whispering - I'm only using the term J-Core because that's all I've seen it referenced as. What's the proper term?
Also, the CD's you know about - are they unmixed, and where did you get them form.
Cheers lads.

Personally i say it Japanese Hardcore, same as i say UK Hardcore or Dutch Hardcore or whatever. In written text i sometimes write it as JHardcore, which is the same abbreviation as used on other Asian genres (JPop, JRock, CPop, KPop etc).
TBH, havent bought CD's in a while (few years), but as far as i can remember, most Sharpnel Sound, Tano*C and MPT CD's are unmixed that i have. Cis-Trance CD's were mixed as far as i can remember.
You can also check from http://www.discogs.com which ones are unmixed.

whispering - thanks for the education, and for the CD info. Much appreciated
DarrenJ - That sounds very promising, and exactly what I'm after. Does anyone else know anything/remember anything like this?
Again, cheers for the information guys. :-)

yea, they had each release up for 6 days, and then before they closed, they sold all the tracks for 30 days further.
Some of the tracks that appeared on digi-up later appeared on a CD from Tano*c
Here's the CDs I have (99% of the covers are japanese) http://www.samination.se/records/covers Also, I mostly ordered my japanese stuff from Guhroovy.com. It's kinda hard place to order as it seems they ignore most english mail as spam. There is an american online store that sells sum stuff to, but their under construction atm. MYDJSOBAD they're called

I ordered a fair few CD's from Dr Freeclouds in America. Had quite a lot there and they turned up promptly. Also got some decent t-shirts there while I was at it. :)
One of them was a mix the other few I ordered where all un-mixed.
Got a few bits on vinyl too but I can't even remember what the labels are, think they're all white label with no info. MPT or something rings a bell though...

Not really fond of MUZIK SERVANT... he keeps adding the same track on multiple CDs (on his own label).. I got like 3 tracks of "Sister Ogre Massacre?" :P
