You would mix it the same as any other Hardcore or genre of music for that matter no?

There's not really much a video could tell you, is there? You know how to mix one genre, that's pretty much all you need to knbow to be able to mix any dance genre.

It's not just going to magically happen, it takes lots of practice. Just keep going at it, and don't be pessimistic about it. Just enjoy the music, and keep working at it. No one can tell you how to do it per se, it's best to just work at it, see what works for you in terms of cutting, equalizing, matching, etc. You'll get there.

makina is all about harmonic mixing as it is very minimal sounding ie not much going on in a track. Ideally you should mix makina on 3 decks lifting parts from 3 different records to make one track so to speak, having a base track running through as standard. If you have only 2 decks, best way i can suggest mixing makina is like mixing hard house by switching ur basslines. Get to know each track as best you can, known your cue points for mixing in, know when the bassline will drop from the first track and when its gonna beginning the in 2nd track, and carry on from there
hope this helps

One thing I like about Makina mixes is the NOISE! Does the noise come out of the track itself, or does the DJ add the noise?
