Dante, each producer usually has their own version of it
I agree, but I` becoming to catch the one tendence behind some produsers. Jess and Spenno-Find your way, Slipmatt - Express yourself, Lethal Theory ft. Vicky Fee - Bring me back, Demis & Eyeopena* - Sound Of My Dreams... and other.
Lilley,
"chipcore"? Great! Now I know this word! :)
Yet sometimes one track maybe not whole chipcore, but contains some elements of this sound. Now I know, what kind of music i like! :)
acidfluxxbass his myspace describes some of his music as 'anime music'
:)
I also call it "Emo-core" :)

Sorry kind of off topic....
@acidfluxxbass Didn't know he called it anime music. I only know of Neon Genesis and Transformers as anime music songs he did. And I like those.
@latininxtc Off of that vinyl, I personally like We All Scream. I don't think Rave Forever is up to par with his other songs...
But anyway S3RL's genre imo is UK Hardcore, and I do like his recent works, with I Live For The Bass Drum and We All Scream as original sounding songs... even though We All Scream sounds oddly similar to Harry Potter...

I haven't listened to a thing of his since I realised that because I heard pretty rave girl I had heard all of his stuff. Then he started remixing his own stuff. That's usually the beginning of the end.

I really like S3RL, some of his productions are a bit cheesy but at least they sound different. The best part is that his songs have killer basslines.
Speaking of which, 25th of March, guestmix on the LSE from him :p

im not a fan of s3rl yet i dont hate him..he has his moments..for example just fcuk with fretman is savage and as most of us know dealer is an absolute beast
as for his chipcore(class description) some of it is annoyingly catchy and has some seriously cool production tricks with vocoders and the likes..his mix of dream suprise is great aswell
