you missed my post?
or are you cutting off the isles of scilly from cornwall - we are still in cornwall you cant get rid of us that easily! :P
Nah but your the only person who's really mentioned anywhere thats particulaly nice. Personally i consider a good coastal town one that isn't overly commercialised.
Bloody hell, you people even dislike commercialisation in coastal towns. Do AATW run Cornwall? :p

<annoying bimbo voice>ITS BACK! AND BIGGER THAN EVAAAAAAAHHH ST IVES!!!! NOW WITH ADDED AMUSEMENT CENTRE AND FISH AND CHIP SHOP! AND YOU THOUGHT LANCASTER WAS BAD FOR SINGLE MUMS? WAIT TILL YOU GET A LOAD OF...CAMBORNE!!!
personally i prefered it when aatw didnt own the rights to cornwall, i much prefered walking round as a charicature
cornwall coastal win - thing is though, unless you're talking newquay...the rest of the towns on the coasts are more like fishing villages, not "seaside resorts" that smoogies going on about
**edited, as i was being a little mean, im sure california is just like poole smoogie!** :P

Southport is one of the grandest towns I have ever seen! It has the UK's second longest peir (Southend has the longest in the world being a mile & 1/4 long) and as a town has a real nice feel to it. It is in the same borough as the outer parts of Liverpool and is very different from the 'industrial' side of Mersayside. I don't know why it was taken out of the Lancashire county and added to Mersayside as it isn't on the Mersay but it is alot quieter than Blackpool which is said to be the busiest in the UK.

Hmm I think I've only been to Torquay and Bournemouth tbh. I've been up to the coast in scotland nearest to Edinburgh, that was really nice. No coastal towns that I can remember going to but there was old ruined castles and shizzle. :)
I've been to foreign beaches more than ones in the UK if I'm honest. :P They have sun and stuff...
