Just wondering what you all think to this tune and the vocals? I really love it, especially the vocals from 45s onwards and the way the tune comes back in at around 1:10s. What do you think?

I don't know if it's the vocals themselves or the way they are recorded or processed but i'm never keen on the vocals used in his tracks. They always sound so nasal and whiney, which is probably down to the vocalists but could be helped by the producer, and wet and thin, which is solely down to the producer. Some harmonies, more layers and perhaps a dryer signal could help, but that's just my opinion. I won't comment on the track itself.

Between 0:46 and 1:08 the vocals are completely out of tune with the music....
at which point I stopped listening.

It should be noted that the track is still a work in progress and is not yet finished.
X-Cyte is aware that the music is out of tune with the vocal on the section you are talking about and this is one of the things being fixed as we speak.
AFAIK X-Cyte is getting feedback on the track from guys like Hattrixx and Fracus, who have told him the exact same thing and it is all being sorted ;) The soundcloud clip is already out of date as he is working on this track everyday, especially as it has attracted quite a bit of interest.
So dont worry, X-Cyte has his eyes on this topic and alot of the things said are issues he already knew about :)
