I have been watching a bit of Danny Dyer latley and was just wondering, what do you lot think is the roughest city in Britain?
By rought I mean a city with a high crime rate, mostly violent crime, places where people get assulated for no reason, places where drug abuse is the norm, places with a threatening feel. Rowdy night lufe & other scandalous behaviour.
The usual culprits are:
London
Manchester
Liverpool
Glasgow
Other places with fearsome reputations:
Birmingham
Notthingham
Leeds
Bristol
Belfast
Other places that can get a little naughty at times:
Portsmouth (thanks to the football firm)
Southampton
Sheffield
Blackpool
Hull
Middlesbourgh
Burnley (thanks to the firm)
Newcastle
What places do you think are 'rough' in the UK?

I feel the list would be shorter if you just listed the ones that arent rough.

Every place in the country has its rough parts... Personallhy i can vouch for blackburn.. Burnley... Blackpool... Bolton and manchester as i've lived in em all and strangley enough i've lived in the roughest of rough parts..

A true Lancashire lad! Even though Manchester & Bolton have been part of Greater Manchester since 1974 lol
Lancs & the rest of the North East does have alot of ran down areas when the traditional industries died out. Blackpool is more of a party town though so has similar problems to most places with binge drinking. I don't know much about Blackburn though.

It looks like London and Liverpool because of Somalian gangs coming over from Africa selling drugs creating gangs etc

i def don't kno shit about the roughness of these cities, but i can tell you pretty much listed the most populous cities in all of britain
each city has its ghettos, but that doesn't necessarily mean the whole city is rough. in US main exceptions are New Orleans and Detroit. best to stay away from those places.
