I was wondering what ever happened to Bananaman? I know DJ Fade left the scene a few years ago, but not sure about his producing partner.
Also are any of their work available for digital downloads?

what are you after? find a way was on this sketchy download site called festerheadz or something a while ago. wouldn't be surprised if it was not in existence anymore. i know they collaborrated on some other tunes too but that's the only digital one that readily springs to mind.

Why sketchy? But yes, the site is gone. Its domain name isn't even registered anymore.

I did at one point know what he Bananaman was doing but i completely forgot. As for digital downloads most of the labels they did stuff on have nothing available digitally really (Maverick, Alpha Projects, Fused Up etc..).

This here was a recent post on the forums.
http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=49441 I think it's the actual Bananaman.

It says he was born in 81 in that profile, assuming the date of birth of the profile is correct, i'm pretty sure Bananaman is older than that. I've seen a photo of him from the mid nineties, when I'd say he was in his early 20s. I actually don't know where he has gone.
As for Fade, he's living in South Africa now apparently, and to my knowledge isn't doing music anymore. Festerheadz site is defunct.

That's not Bananaman. Just someone using his name. Checked out the Facebook link for both group and his own profile all it has is the same cartoon picture of Bananaman. All details seem also to be from the cartoon so I think it's just some weird bloke obsessed with the name.

Festerheadz wasnt scetchy. Based on the tracks that appeared, it might have been Fade that tried to run it

Try sending the guy a message through facebook then. I would think the majority of DJ's would know better than to use another artists name even more so considering the fact that a fade bananaman track is on the podcasts tracklist.

Yes I had noticed this Happy Hardcore Classics podcast on iTunes recently. Was assuming it was the real Bananaman that used to produce hardcore. From the look of the tracklisting, looks like those would be tunes he'd likely play although was surprised to see some of the gabber tunes on the mix - wouldn't have expected him to have played some of them. So you guys think it isn't the real one?

Found this podcast on iTunes aswell by someone called DJ Swift from Montpellier playing UK hardcore. Just a coincidence that someone else has called themselves after a former hardcore producer and has an iTunes podcast.
http://www.facebook.com/nicolaslievens I see he has a link to the happyhardcore.com facebook page.
