I'm 20. 21 next month, though.
I'm surprised at the amount of people younger than me on here. I've no idea why, but I always assumed that most would be early/mid 20's.

People can be paranoid about those types of things. A couple of my friends never put their real name, first or last on anything. So they have some weird name, or really common ones.
Of course, if someone REALLY wanted to know who you were it doesn't matter how much fake information you put out there, they could find out who you are. Albeit it might take some time, but in this day and age it's nearly impossible to just be off the grid.

I used to be totally off the grid a few years back. No job, not claiming any benefits, no fixed abode, no phone and not on the internet....No one could find me and the debt collecters certainly couldn't ****in find me :) :)
And Matt belive me people use fake ages ALOT on the net. I mean people who use the social network sites and stuff i wouldnt of thought people on here would. But some people pretend to be a whole nother person on the net...Even iv'e done it, but thats just to hide/protect this Mcing name from my other one lol....Iv met loads of girls lieing about their age on t'internet just like in real life, same with blokes pretending to be younger to get girls or older to get "Respect" lol. There is alot of sad people out there....

When you're 12 years old on here, no one ever listens to you. Then again, at 16 (my current, real age) people don't listen to me anymore than when I was 12. Which is all the better, when you consider how stupid my first year of posting was.
Btw, I have mentioned this before, in case anyone wanted to make a point like 'wtf, man? are you really 16, or is that a lie too?'. Nah, when I turned 15, I started aging again.

This is another case of 'lying' on sites, even ones like these. Something like age usually comes into factor when insulting someone, so it's no uncommon to want to act older to be "wiser" in terms of in people's eyes.
