We use pencils here because of tradition. Theres lots of people overseeing the voting, vote boxes are sealed when their moved etc, if someone really wants to change the vote, they could just make a bunch of cards and replace some of the votes (Assuming they would get the chance to erase and rewrite your vote.)

But their the only ones that work. I would never ever trust electronic voting. Hacking is just way "too easy" for it to ever work. They tried it here once in few places and a bunch of votes weren't registered.

Conservative I think. We had Labour, Lib Dem, UKIP & an Independent. BnP are nowhere to be seen round here & no one is standing as Green or any other small party.

If i were a UK citizen i would probably vote for UKip, Which is a bit strange since i disagree with their main objective, but otherwise they seem on spot.
Anyway, hope you all vote, democracy does never and will never work if you dont vote.

yea if no candidate they wont be on. We got 3 standing round here... Very good support round here
yea - dont think we've ever had one, i highly highly doubt we ever will as this area is quite well off ;)
incidently - it was a pencil, and the lib-dems were first on the list.
precisely because of the first past the post system it wont make too much difference at all wether i voted or not as this is a lib-dem safe seat, i would have to live in a constituence where it was a "swing" seat, so that the lib-dems would gain another seat...
of course it would make a difference if i was voting Conservative, as that would be a vote against lib-dems and against the safe seat..but as i was voting lib-dem i was basically throwing a spoonful of water into an already filled lake. in comparison to the conserv's small tarn.
all ive done is secure a seat which is already uber-secure. my vote would have made a difference had i lived else where in the country...
