not sure what fingaz is trying to say really
the V was to symbolize rebellion against a govenment who were against homosexuals, religious texts that werent christian and who had shut england down to outsiders...(sound familiar?)

So? How does a rise in the Muslim population prove that we're somehow going to be forced to become an Islamic nation? What you're saying doesn't make any sense, especially when you take into account the fact that Muslims in Britain (for the most part) become more moderate with every generation, hell, I used to go to college with a Muslim who got pissed with me every weekend, and I've seen him eat a sausage roll too. I feel you're being brainwashed by right wing propaganda and scare stories mate, the idea we're ever going to turn into a Muslim nation is laughable.

You're making sweeping generalisations and baseless assertions with no evidence. If that's true, then prove it. I can only speak on my own experience having known many Muslims, and I've never heard any of them express a desire to have their own law or to run the place. There are a lot of scare stories from the Daily Mail and other rags about Sharia Law, but in it's most common form it's already legal, and has since long before any of us were born, it's basically just an out of court settlement.

You could say the exact same thing about Christianity, more specifically Catholicism, they're both disgusting doctrines, but I don't see Britain succumbing to their influence, if anything we're going to opposite way, we're fast becoming a broadly atheist nation.

Some do yes, I won't deny it, and I dislike it as much as you, but you can't generalise like that. There are Muslims out there that no doubt you'd get along great with. You can't lump them all into the same category just because of the actions of an extremist minority, at least in the UK anyway, where the Muslim community is mostly quite moderate in their views.
