Any exciting things to do in this area?
I walked past west ham footy stadium yesterday and got jammed against a french kid on the tube.
Ideas are welcome

Getting mugged is probably the most exciting thing that'll happen to you in East London.

Oldham, Greater Manchester is said to be the binge capital of Britian! New Ham is un heard of but I bet it is in East London and sounds like an area with victorian houses, an underground station and a main road with shops and a few pubs where the local firm hang out.

This is the same as Newham, right? I think it's one word.

I used to play football there on Monday nights. Apologies if anyone reading this is from that area - but fcuk me - they were some violent matches. Properly thuggish people. It was good fun, just really, really shitty people.

I can imagine it. These guys with gold chains & short French crop haircuts thinking they are geezers showing off to the kids and trying to impress the elders as the top boys of football. They all speak Cockney slang and like every football hooligan film they are always trying to out do the enemy, 'Those Millwall ****s' as they call them. Same all over East London & other large towns and cities. (except only in East London you will hear Cockney slang)

Well, actually, we were only one of two white teams in our Monday night league set-up. Four divisions, eight teams each. The rest was a mix of African, Turkish, Asian.

But yeah, point taken, your stereotype is almost bang on. Especially where I play these days, which is Dagenham (a few miles further east). That's mainly white, but still pretty thuggish.

Where are you from Smoogie?

Poole - home to Sand Banks? One of the top five most expensive places to live in the world or something? And doesn't it have the second largest natural harbour in the world, as well?

Ha! You're so right! I don't know what is, but I've always had a soft sport for hot-chav-girls.

Poole is famous for Sanbanks. Right next to Bournemouth.

Some chav girls look ok but others are rough

Ahem....

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the East end of London. It produced the Ionosphere crew for starters....
