Who actually cares. It's not difficult to copy and paste. It's harder for the author to use pointless code than it is for you to just copy and paste.

No, you're getting confused. That is science, not religion.
Not entirely true.
Religion did the same thing (creation of man), while also giving morals/etc. whatever.
ancients didnt understand space, they had no telescope and the sky was full of stars, each planmet and stars represented a belief. day and night translated to satan and the messiah (eg jesus v devil)

The world was created from a birds egg, that was layed on a dudes knee while he was flouting in the sea. The dude was given birth by a maiden called Iro, so in the beginning there was only Iro maiden. According to Finnish mythology. And TBH its as good a theory then any.

I'm atheist but I respect whatever others believe in. I believe in myself and everyone accepts it, so if people want to believe in god it's their own decision (May it be god or lady gaga's cat).

what a load of bollox pmsl
what I said or what they believed?
enlighten me.
What you said.
A telescope was never necessary to view the stars. Geocentric and the first heliocentric theories were published well before the telescope.
Day and night NEVER translated to Jesus and the devil. Don't know where you pulled that from but I'm guessing it was brown when it came out. If you actually had any idea at all you would never had made such a statement. As for Jesus, he was a real living person and that is universally accepted among historians (barring some retards who walk around with their eyes closed).
I agree with you in that in some cultures, various gods are thought to control various things, but religion as an entity is not about what is not understood (ie most naturally occurring events) rather about how to live life. Even in the cultures where they think their various idol's control the wind or rain, their religion is about and governs their lifestyle.
Of the 5 major world religions, none are about or because of the unknown, they are all about lifestyle and (to an extent) morality.
