darts is hilarious. Definitely can be a fun activity, wouldnt call it a sport though rather just leisure. Much the same as fishing.

I've played Darts all my life. I'm a 70-90 average player. My Dad is a quality player & my Grandad before him & all 4 of my Dads brothers too so Darts has always been in the family.
I've watched Darts ever since i was little & that has to be one of the best finals ever in terms of Taylor's average & obviously the 2 Nine-Darters which could have been 3. If only the T17, D18 had gone in would have been 2 in a row.
PS. For all those people who think Darts isn't a sport, your wrong because it is a sport. Officially too.

I guess that depends on your definition of sport. Is it anything physical that can be competitive? Without going by a strict definition I was just using physical exertion as a guidline, or the "can you hold a beer at the same time" criteria - if you can, then its not a sport.
Golf too. Belting a ball then chasing after it in a buggy isnt how I would describe a sport =P.

It was amazing what Taylor achieved! I love Sid Waddell's commentary haha, he is definitely the best commentator in any sport!
I used to play everyday for 1-2 hours and got quite good, played in 1 or 2 tournaments that I found on the BDO forum. Closest to the big names i got was scoring a Stephen Bunting game in a competition, as he was on the same board as me and I lost my game, so the loser had to score the next game and he was on next. He played in the world championship at lakeside last time.
