now we all know that raving to hardcore can provide the best time of our lives raving away and rocking and 90% PERCENT THE RAVE IS A BLINDER!
how ever a few of the raves ive gone to have provided a bit of worry and its usally the same bunch of people thta think they rule the rave usally the scousers known as the birkenhead boys who insist on ruining the rave if u try and get to the front to meet or give a shout to an mc they budge u out the way if any one has had similar expierences reply to this top{ic

i agree birkenheaders do have a bit of an attitude.
and i hate there accent and cant understand it.

Right, can I try to clear this up please (I'm from Liverpool).
For those of you that dont know, Liverpool is quite close to Birkenhead, there used to be a Hardcore only club in Birkenhead which closed down because a small minority of the local "scallys" (d*ckheads) realised while everyone was on high & happy they could rob, bully &
take drugs & get away with it by mingling when security realised.
When the club closed down them (& their younger brothers) started to go to raves to do the same thing, I speak with a scouse (Liverpudlian) accent & as a result get people giving me sh&t at raves, (& have been turned away from one) so as you can imagine I'm as disgusted by them as much if not more so than anyone else.
The sad thing is, I know 3 ravers from birkenhead who are really great nice people who have now stopped going to raves because they get associated with them, thankfully though, the "birkenhead crew" numbers are dropping (a lot are in prison!), so hopefully I'll be able to open my mouth at raves without getting sh*t, & be able to not hate the coach stopping there on the way.
Sorry if this post went on a bit, its something I (understandably) feel quite strongly about.

yeh god damnit im originally from liverpool! i love da place but you can get a lot of twats from birkenhead who **** up the rave (for example skelter a few years ago, but i wont go into that)
oh and foxy, do u follow football? if so, are u the red or blue side of mersyside? (i am the red side :p)

Dont get to go to many games though (tickets are like gold dust!).
But anyway re: Birkenhead, to sum up scousers arent all d*ckheads, so give us a chance!!!!

Dam right!! I get called a scouser and Im not from Liverpool. I live just outside. But coz I talk with a slight scouse accent I get slated when I go out. Dont brand us d*ckheads please. Alot of us are only out to have a good time and rave to the hardcore. You'll know a d*ckhead when you see one! Not all of us are!

this was about the birkenhead boys no 1 else. alot of scousers i meet r realy sweet people i think its out of order that u all get stereo typed then again im from brighton so i get it just as bad! but what im trying to say is what u all agree on is the birkenhead boys are twats which we all can agree on.

Ok its been a YEAR since this thread was put up, its just a few of the birkenheasders 5 max that do the damage the rest are FINE they have seriously grown up over the years and have started to communicate with other ravers POSSITIVELY.

i hate d&b cuz of its seen, violence kills music, they only mix in rap cuz the people who realy buy into it are violent. d&b will eventually die if it follows the same trends a garage cuz of the rude boyz, hardcore could suffer the same fate if it follows suit.
