just look at Sweden. The people sent her to the semi finals, and she didn't even get pasted that. Never let the people decide.
Funny thing, a mate of mine came up with a theory that if we send a song that was sang on Swedish originally, and then translate to English, it will do very well. But if we send a song that's in English from the beginning, they always go horribly wrong.

Just flicked over and armenia were on(the girl singing was smoking hot)but thats all i seen
And why do most of them sing in english? its a ****ing joke they should be singing in their own language, and just singing in english so that the brits can understand them
I wouldn't vote for us either. And who was responsible for hiring the backing singers? And who thought it would be a good idea to tell them all a different key?

It's weird that watching the Armenia video, despite the smoking bird, the thing that really grabbed my attention is the fact they're using Cubase lol

Ha. Youy wouldn't be saying that if they were seeking asylum haha
The Romanian bird is out of this world!

English is a universal language really. Its known reasonably well across Europe. The song writers want people to understand the song ratehr than hear some unknown language.
Tbh, that fact goes to waste when some fitt lass chats about an Apricot Stone...

Probably because he's by far one of the best producers, i like a lot of his stuff. Lol i was surprised to hear an M1 in that tune! This tune is good actually lol; i mean it's an actual song unlike the current rubbish.

have to agree with hard here, that tune aint that bad.
I'd be most surprised if UK had to qualify into the finals, and lost to Sweden's poor contribution

I love that track by Lena, and usually I'm not a big fan of commercial music!
I watched an interview with her on TV today and I like her a lot, the type of girl she is, etc.. :)
She said it wasn't even on purpose to become popular, she wanted to do something completely different (to go to australia and do.. uh.. I forgot what) and she hopes she will still be able to do that! Coolio let's hope to hear some more stuff from her!

All pretty daft, no songs really caught my attention, and way too many ballads as usual. Eurovision should be all party music. I also don't get why Lithuania didn't make it to the finals, that song was better than a lot of the ones that did make it. Norway should have sent a different song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg87kjR6HvI) to the finals too, the people voted for the wrong song.
And about the girls, If I remember correctly, the Portuguese one was the prettiest.

Armenia had a great track, but Romania was awesome. I mean singing in a Duet is far away from being easy, but these two singers were complementing one another perfectly.
Lenas song is just a well merchandised song. She might be a very likeable person, but she can't sing right one single note. maybe the organizers should not allow a songs releasement to the public before the main event.
