What an amazing night! I still can't believe it haha!
I came at like 11 PM and was waiting in the backstage/vip room with the other local DJ's and some promoters, while Spaceant (the organizer) was on his way to pick-up Luna-C from the airport I think (or from Spaceants home perhaps, don't know?). I think they came at 12 AM or so and I was like "wow, is that... no he can't be.. I mean.. yes he could.. no no impossible!" but when he said "hello" in english I knew it was him haha
I think we've been talking for like, what? 1-2 hours in the backstage room? (time passed by too fast!) Until he started his set at 1:30 AM :) The set was simply amazing, a bit of everything, oldskool, breakbeat hardcore/dnb, uk hardcore, ragga, yeah even some gabber! (and maybe some dubstep? correct me if I'm wrong) Perfectly mixed and a lot of the tracks were mashups so it was really interesting to hear ;)
(especially the thing you did with the vocals from Dealer - S3RL, that was amazing haha! Cocaine, Luna-C, XTC, Luna-C hahah  )
I have made some videos and some photos, aswell as DJ Gon did (sets were recorded, video & audio) maybe I'll post some bits if I get the permission!
I know for you it was just a random night, but for me it was special, and there's so much more to tell right now but I simply wouldn't know where to start  You seem to be a really cool guy and I hope you didn't get anything wrong because of my terrible accent, you gave me a strange look sometimes haha
Thank you very much for this night, I'm really glad I had the chance to get to know you personally, thank you for the interesting but also funny stories and I hope we will meet again at some point (hopefully with Panacea! hehe)

Yeah was a rly cool night, Luna-C his set was amazing! =)
The rest of the DJs were ok, but the Breakbeat / DnB got boring after a while =/

One thing that was annoying imo was the top flat screen which hasn't been working anymore for some time now... I'm wondering when they'll fix it. Which means everything was pretty dark, because usually when the screen works it looks like this:

Those colours are amazing!
Appart of that I'm happy it wasn't overfilled like when Drum & Bass is being played, it's actually quite annoying when there's no place to dance anymore.. but yeah

As for meeting Luna C, nah it's not just an average night, he's a real legend. It's an honour meeting him any time.

He will appreciate the complement. It's not as average as you might think; for some completely mind boggling reason he don't get a huge amount of bookings, not in the UK anyway.

I met Luna-C a few years back in a tiny club in Liverpool, he's such a nice guy and so down to earth.

Back in 07 when superset 4 or 5 was new, I was supposed to go see him play at a small club (<200) in sydney. Sadly, something came up and I missed it. Regretted it ever since. It seems he has no immediate plans on returning to sydney :(

nooooo, how can I miss out on that one :/
well, it's not like I'm a super fan of Luna-C, listended to his supasets some 3 years ago, some parts were superb others meh(not so much of a jungle head), but he's a legend and that alone justifies any doubts of not attending
hope he comes back any time soon!
so I see "Basstart" is still going strong? I always wanted to attend this, first I ever heard about it was 3 years ago, always thought this is as close as it gets when it comes to local hardcore venues, but for my friends, hardcore = gabba = no, so it's still not off my to do list.
I believe SV NYE will still be the only option for me to refill my hardcore meter, god, why can't it be more popular here :/
