Hello all.
I was wondering what ever ones favorite hardcore boxset is. Seeing how hardcore is full of them.
Only one rule. No bonkers. Having bonkers being a favoirte is given at this point so I don't want to see any! Lets try and Mix it up.
mine would have to be the first Clubland X-treme Hardcore.

Not sure if it qualifies as a 'boxset', seeing as it was a download only album, but Crush On Hardcore 4 was seriously, seriously powerful.
In terms of physical compilations, Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 4 is unbeatable. When that came out, it took my obsession with hardcore to a whole new level.
I well understand that this style of hardcore is the source of much hatred by a lot of hardcore fans. I feel like every time I mention liking Clubland albums, I feel I have to also disclose that I am the proud owner of more respected series' such as Hardcore Underground, earlier Bonkers. Hardcore Reunited etc. However, that fourth Clubland album is just insatiable.

plus it was all the same european hardcore gabber blah, and there were better ones Hellraider, ravers night series etc etc.
i prefer the happy hardcore stuff to be honest (like on the original 95-99 styleeee)

Snatch + L4yer Cake was a pretty hardcore boxset, but I think Underworld + Revolutions was harder.

it's defently an aquired taste the 90s dutch/german stuff. it's prety minimal compared to the busy sounding UK stuff

I own some of the older Thunderdomes and I must say out of all the oldschool hardcore music Ive heard Tunderdome defiantly has the most oldschool vibe.
