Ha ha. I've just written a massive post about the Hardcore Heaven Awards in another topic - basically how I think, in terms of the DJ categories, it's a bit of a fix.
That said, I didn't say anything about the compilation category, so I'm free to vote for NSR2 without looking like a hypercritical w*nker.
I liked Hardcore Underground 4. I've heard some awesome tracks from Hardcore Addiction 3, but as an overall package (value, quality of tunes, format [mixed CD, unmixed CD], artwork etc) - you guys definitely get my vote Craig.

Great work craig, youve achieved allot with nsr2. this nomination could bring more sales couldnt it? ;)
But my vote is with HU4, it was in fairness better value and I prefferred the music. It covered every style.

More sales of the CD on the back of this would of course be nice. Its a nice opportunity for us, as it will hopefully make more people aware of NSR, maybe people who dont visit message boards or use the internet that often. The hope is that it will make people who dont see us as a serious label, reconsider. This should make it easier to sign talented upcoming artists, who want a serious label and not a fly-by-night mp3 label as there are so many of these about at the moment. If artists see this nomination, perhaps they will consider NSR something that they want to be a part of in the future and get in touch with us, as we consider ourselves an open label willing to listen to and help whoever we can.
Its just good to be on the list of nominees in what is a very strong category. It shows we are doing things right and gives us even more enthusiasm for the future to one day produce a CD that could well take on CXH and the like.

I wouldnt of thought HA3 would be nominated. It wasnt even that good....I mean i was pumped for it and waited quite awhile for it, and when i got it, i wasnt too into it. I listened to the whole thing once, and never went back

I guess its all personal opinions. There are alot of people who really enjoyed HA3. The same goes for NSR2, HU4, CXH6, HTID2, its just a matter of taste :)

To be honest I enjoyed all the albums nominated - I'm really enjoying lots and lots of hardcore at the moment.
The only album I didn't get was NSR2 (and whatever that Slammin anthems one is) - which I've heard so many good things about. But of course, I'll be picking up the third installment, and if it's great I think I'll have to take a trip back in time and pick up volume 2.
It's great to see NSR on there though. You can call the polls tosh but it's great to see some real underground stuff in the spotlight!
