Though Germany has not played yet, I was very disappointed what England showed against their former colony ;) But at least they scored...France didn't win against 10.

I must admit, I find incidents like Robert Green's last night funny. After years of jokes about Scottish goalkeepers being rubbish, I find it a bit funny England's goalkeepers are persistently making fools of themselves. Ever since the infamous Ronaldinhio lob (which I don't think was really Seaman's fault. Most goalkeepers would have positioned themselves in the same way, with the same result) it seems that no matter who England pick, they make a mess of it.
I know he's inexperienced, but I'd have went with Joe Hart. He's by far been the best performing English goalkeeper in the last season. I've never rated Green, and James is always good for a howler or two. I'd have taken Paul Robinson instead of Green personally. Maybe he's blotted his jotters, but I've always thought he's a more reliable keeper than Green, who I've always felt was a walking disaster.
You can't lay all the blame at Green's door, though. Heskey wasted an excellent chance by firing straight at Howard, and the performance overall was sub-standard. Rooney and Lampard were posted missing for long spells, and the defence looked very shaky, with Jamie Carragher perhaps being a little lucky he wasn't sent off.
Slovenia and Algeria both looked very, very poor sides today. Even a sub-par England should be able to see them off. Similarly, I expect the US to see them off, fighting it out with England for the top spot in the group. Yesterday was a better point for the US than it was for England; had England taken all three points, then they'd surely have more or less won the group already.

I agree regarding France, but have to disagree with Argentina.
Argentina looked very good going forward, but were let down only by some poor finishing and some very good goalkeeping. Admittedly, they looked very vulnerable defensively, but that was mostly due to playing Gutierez at RB. Seriously, WTF was Maradonna thinking?! I think there's more to come from the Argies yet, although I still do think they'll be let down by Maradonna doing something stupid.
France were abysmal against Uruguay. I've no idea how on earth Domenech has lasted this long in the job.
