They've gone and bloody well removed it from the game mode playlist on Call of Duty.
Fcuking not happy.
Anyone else play/like this game mode? I probably spent 60% of my Call of Duty playing time in this game mode.

Well that's gay. I like Capture The Flag, haven't played COD in a while but that was one of my favourite games, that and Search.

Weird that its been removed :s Is it permanent or could they just be updating it?
Bet you could find out for sure on a game geek forum.
I usually just play Team Deathmatch, unless I play free-for-all. Bit bored of capture the flag as thats the online game mode of online gameplay for Brothers In Arms Hells Highway, which I used to play all the time before I got MW2

Craig, I found this on a game geek forum earlier this morning. Don't know how much you can rely on it though:
"Apparently not enough room. It's supposed to be going back in after the 2 Resurgence playlists have run their course (prob 1-2 months)"
I don't actually know what means, but it sounds marginally promising.
I've been playing a bit of Team Deathmatch lately as well actually. Tried Hardcore Team Deathmatch but got routinely raped, so I think I need to improve a little more.
Free-For-All rarely gets boring. Like that.

is capture the flag the same as that 1 w/ the flag on Halo? not a big fan of the shooter games

It means what it stated.
The two new resurgence map playlists added to your playlist, which you might get today over in Europe. One is barebones, and the other is hardcore, it'll be in those now not a stand alone.
Edit: And you can only play that playlist if you get the new map pack, which I got. It has two old maps: Strike and Vacant, plus three others like the last map pack. The two off the top of my head is Fuel, and the Carnival. Fuel is HUGE and you need marathon otherwise you'll be truckin' along for minutes to get to the other side. Carnival is crowded, and I'm not a big fan. The last one is some trailer park.

Basically, you go into the other persons starting spawn area on the other side of the map from where you spawn with your team, and have to grab it and capture it.

CTF on all games past the year 2002 are shit.
COD is shit!
now quake 3 arena's capturetheflag on the other hand.... that is the best.
