Brutally honest topic this but have to agree with the majority. Try & get yourself another job asap Wilky, don't let them get rid of ya before you've found something else mate. Easier said than done I know but when people rely on you to live & get by you've really gotta suck it up & get on with it. Hope things pick up dude.

Im on my last warning and got my review coming up... Basically been told by the GM that if i dont book my ideas up in the nxt week or 2 im a gonna...
I need to learn respect of people in a higher position than me, which i have very little

Seriously, no doubt wilky says the wrong things to wrong people all too often. But when you do shitty jobs for shitty money, social skills aren't exactly required. If your boss is an ******* theres no reason to suck hes a-hole further. So i'm gonna give wilky the benefit of the doubt. Since i dont know what has been said/done, to who and for what reasons.

Are you saying we're all high powered executives and Alan Sugar types? Lol, I'm on minimum wage! But i do as i'm told and get on with my job and i'm respected for it. My boss knows they can rely on me and i don't get any stick from them. It's not about sucking up to people it's about following orders given to you by your BOSS. I do it and i have absolutely no responsibilties or commitments. How someone can be so stupid and irresponsible when they have children to provide for is beyond me.
Wilky just get your head down. You don't have to respect, admire or even like your boss, just follow their orders. Say whatever you want about them behind their back (not to the wrong people though), but to their face, at the very least, try to be civil and compliant.
