@ Karmah - yeh, most off us that replied are in the UK. I'm in Sunny Scotland. Its like the paradise of the UK.
@ Dante - It says on the label (under the Tonic part) "The name Tonic Wine does not imply health giving or medicinal properties" which I can agree with! I think the names just stuck from the original drink that was brewed by the Buckfast Monks @ The Buckfast Abbey, which is the Mecca for Scot's i'll have you know.

"Buckfast" & "Can't beat it" really don't belong in the same sentace. :P I'd rather have Fingaz's Smirnoff or some Russian Standard with Ice. 8)

I will agree, if your trying Bfast for the first time then you wont like the taste. Fact. But its more the feelin you get once your halfway through. There is no other drink like it. If you can't battle by the taste (which really is an aquired one :P) your seriously missing out! Saying that, if you compare it to the taste of Vodka! its like sipping Ribena : P

Speaking of favourite poisons, I guess this is mine, seeing as I've gotten beyond blackout drunk on it several times, without getting the chills just thinking about it, like I do with tequila. But I guess everyone's been _there_.

79.9% drank 2 litres of vodka through the day then hammerd that to myself at night, apparently i was found naked on my lounge floor choking on my own vomit just after taking a piss in the corner and being sick in my gf's shoes. Was a great night, even better the next day when i paid my gf and her mate to clean it all up haha.....I wonder why she left me :S :S

OMg and you still drink VODKA, i would have seriously considered taking a break from vodka.Choking on your on vodka could be deadly!!!!! I've heard scary stories about that.lol. But Blacking out is normal, some people blackout from the innocent beeer:/
