My mom named me Ashley, then Decided to call me Karma because she liked that name better. so now im KARMA <3 &its awesome! I's sure it has something to do with her religion. :)

I chose D-tor because my name is hyphenated (Anthony-Jacob) and it's short for my gamertag SickDesTrUctOr = D-tor
I also used it in NFS because a detour fit a racing game... and I'm the kinda guy to take shortcuts in life.

Mine came from when i was about 12 or 13. We used to sleep in tents at my cousins every weekend throughout the summer holidays or if the weather was nice & warm & i would always tell ghost stories & spook everyone out during the night. So i got the name Spooks. Started mixing at 13 & used the name Spooks but changed the ending from "ks" to an "x" = Spoox.
Stupid i know.

Do you guys not think a name should be a personal thing? Surely your lives can't be so boring you don't have 1 interesting feature about yourselves...?
Not dissing anyone here but if your going to be with your dj name for life or even just your username which is basically your nickname then you should want it to be slightly personal. It would be in real life....

I could use Noddy, which is what my friends call me, but there was a happy hardcore DJ called that in the 90s so I'm ****ed :p

No prizes for guessing where I got mine! but I felt it summed up my unhealthy obsession with Anime & Computer games perfectly. For Production i'll now be going under the name 'Fire Shadow'.
EDIT - Also, & this is very sad, but when me & my mates were a lot younger we all took names of the street fighter characters. funnily enough all my mates had resemblences lmao !I was Ken & my Big Bro was Ryu & let's just say these nicknames caused a few broken bones.
