heya, i just got back from spain 2day and i gotta tell u's that the spanish happy hardcore scene is HUGE!!! maquina is totally takin over there.even in predominantly English pubs every 2nd track was maquina.i got totally addicted 2 the stuff and had 2 buy a CD so i bought the 10th Anniversary Pont Aeri album (3CDs)....and guys,its not all kazoo noises,theres a lotta paul elstak kinda stuff (really hard) as well as the cheeeeeez we all know and love!
but seriously people u gotta buy sum maquina stuff or even better go 2 spain and experience it 1st hand...all u gotta do is go 2 any bar and say 2 the barman "une beire por favor" then go 2 the DJ and say "La Maquina por favor" ;>)

Its written "Makina" and it is Skinhead music there. Pont aeri is probably the most racist club out there. Althought i do spin makina i do not support the state of mind that goes with it

for being racist skinhead music the vast majority of it sure is pussy!
most of the spanish sets ive heard that had anything hard in it was just some dutch or italian tracks.
but there is some hard ass spanish stuff

Im a great fan of makina, maybe makina is better than the same english happy hardcore and were just getting jealous, Its how Marc SMith i jumped back into producing when there was more decent shit being made and maybe thats it, Maybe Makina is gonna kick off happy hardcore bettter then before

sorry got a bit carried away there but thats the intro to the best Makina tune i've ever heard dont know who its by but i think its called flying free or something....

A lot of the best makina tracks can be found on such labels as uptempo and arcade/bit music but most of them cannot be found anywhere except from barcelona in spain. Makina is a style so underground that 90% of the tracks are only found in very limited quantities (100) on generic labels or on dubplates and cds.
I will maybe auction my makina collection soon so stay tuned!

Yeha, you can get pont aeri compilations very easily on the internet. x-que and chasis too have compilations I think

that tune flying free is minted!!!!its actually pretty poulaer over here in glasgow,scotland.Ive heard another one ive bbeen tryin 2 find out the track name for ages.I heard it was called digital nights.It goes TONITEEEEE,FEEEL THE LOVEEE TONITEEE,TONITEE,WEN I LOOKE IN YOUR EYESSS.Any help would be appreciated cheers big ears!!!
