Has anyone on here ever tried this herbal supplement? I will admit that I stay worried a lot, and instead of going to a psycharitrist (sp) and being prescribed some chemical drug, I decided to try something over the counter (300 mg) and not chocked full of chemicals. But ya, if anyone's tried it, does it work? is it a waste? any other suggestions?

It definitely does what it says it does. But everyone experiences things differently. Also you have to make sure that your getting it from a good source. Many supplements are very poor quality, and even if they would otherwise be effective are not so simply because of how little active ingredients there are (or because of how unfresh it is). Certainly it's worth trying because yeah you do want to be keeping away from anti depressants lol. Have you not thought about 5-HTP? It's the precursor to serotonin so increases serotonin levels. Regarding St. Johns, i believe it takes some time to take effect.
