lol ive been pondering this for years but never told anyone.
im thinking of starting a little buissness. opening up a bar in my town that only plays electronic music like for ravers sorta like a club but more chillaxed and fun haha i would love to do that.just thinking about it is awesome.i would have a big dj stand and a big bar in the middle lots of chars lights and lazers. even host special nights were its like a mini rave and schedules were every night you play a different genre xD

yeah as soon as people start expecting to rake in all this cash and start being greedy thats when it turns out lame and not fun.lol and pretty soon that place wont exist :/

Well that, and there is no profit to be made in this kind of thing unless you have a serious amount of money to do something big and attract a lot of people.

in my town the rave scene is kinda popular but im sure it will catch on.
ill just gather all my friends from the county and tell them about it im sure they will tell friends and there friends will tell friends and explosion rofl but things dont turn out the way they seem sometimes u just gotta think positive =)

i always thought it would be nice to have a relaxed cafe, with a DJ playing some chillout/sun-kissed house grooves quietly, and then perhaps change into a chilled out resturant in the evening...same chillout/downtempo/blissed out house stuff.

paying for it as in, getting it started? i never said anything about charging to get in..its a cafe, you only pay for drinks, food and light snacks!

its nice man, just remerber if you are doing this for real, have in mind that starting a succesfull bussines requires a lot of planning and investigation so everything goes well,
I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, I'm just saying that if you are doing this for real, take your time, don't rush it, and make sure you do everything step by step

A local group of lads use to do this at a bar in the city, under the name "nightvision", basicly rented half the bar and played hardcore from midnight to 5am every saturday night.
Lasted about 4months, I went about 6 times. Alot of the DJs I saw I never saw again despite the fact they could clearly mix
Basicly everyone sat and got drunk, was interesting.
