Totally gutted he's leaving the scene. He's one of the main reasons i got into Hardcore & Impact being one of my top labels back in the day. A legend in the scene for sure.

Yes it is true, I will be retiring from Hardcore at the end of the year. I can't contribute to the scene like I used to, so have made the hard decision to hang up the headphones. Thanks to you all for your support and hope you rave on without me for many years to come!!! ;-)

Breakbeat Hardcore on MTV, how epic! Man, where has all the good music gone?! It's all shit today..

no its defo breakbeat hardcore, hardcore breaks came much later then 92, infact hardcore was a new term back in 92 so it was really just hardcore at the time

Actually back in the late 80s/90s Hardcore was a form House Music (Stuff like Sweet Harmony), with the time it became faster and faster and lost the breakbeats, but back in the 90s people called it simply "Hardcore", not "Breakbeat Hardcore". Breakbeat Hardcore now is the term to call the fast stuff (170 bpm, the later "Hardcore") and Hardcore Breaks to call the slower stuff (140 bpm, the earlier "Hardcore"). Hope this helps..

Seduction hasn't done much goos since about 2007 right? He'd practially quit already in my eyes although i've always been a big fan of his tunes..

Man that sux!!!! He would have to be one of my favourite all time dj producers. Always innovative in his productions. Bought all his latest tunes. Very sad news. Think his misses recently had a baby. Probably a lot more commitments with that.

what does having a baby have to do with owt ? loads of DJs have them when Billy Bunter had his first he didnt quit the scene, he started Happy Jack Productions with Stage One & named it after his son.
