I was thinking about The Matrix the other day and I started thinking about the kinky club scene towards the beginning of the movie.
Observe.
To me, this looks badass. How can one go about getting into these clubs If they exist. (They do exist right?)
Also, What kind of music do you think would be played? In the video somekind of metal and D&B mashup is played so i'm guessing somekind of darker EDM.
Your thoughts or experiences?

It looks like a cybergoth club, first tune is from a rob zombie remix album its called Dragula, second one is mindfields by prodigy. Dunno why the second one was chosen, maybe cos of its relevance to the film (mind fields get it?)
Look up: EBM, Aggrotech, Electro Industrial and stuff, cybergoth clubs play this kind of music, if you're in london there one called slimelight which does it a lot!!

i don't think there are any in the US and if there are, they're extremely exclusive and there's probably not a lot of info on them readily available online. you probably have to know someone in the business.
as far as i'm aware, i do believe that in europe they have them. they're sex clubs (not necessarily raves, but some do have electronic music playing) where they have dancers and the dancers have sex with the audience. i'm sure tho because they are filming, they're gonna be particular about who they let in these clubs (in other words, no uglies)

There is plenty of them though that aren't porn shoots and will accomodate anyone. Well maybe not plenty, but they are there. And yes, nothing to do with the music, it's about the sex and such.
The fact that you attributed (latinxtc) them with Hardcore just because they play electronic music shows how little of it you get over there eh :P Over here it's played in places like shops even, so it doesn't mean anything.

They're not sex clubs, cybergoth nights at clubs or cybergoth clubs are just simply full of a lot of kinky and horny people wearing either outright fetish gear or clothing inspired by fetish gear (bondage straps etc.) and these clubs do exist they are just pretty hard to find if you're not in the know.

I think the club scean in The Matrix Revolutions when Trinity, Morpheous and Serif go into Club Hel to see The Merovingian. Id post a clip but i have no idea how to :S

If clubs like that of the Matrix actually do exist exactly as it does in the film then it's only by chance, as the film is fictional lol.
