Alright, long story short, I hate English. It bores me to tears. I've never found anything interesting or engaging about it and that hasn't changed.
Right now I have the option of ditching English IV for either Biology or Health, and at a much later date taking a shorter GED preparatory English class. I'm extremely tempted to do this. Is this a bad idea?

i thought this was about you ditching the language. I was hoping you'd create your own language. I am disappoint.

An English class here in the US is about literature, grammar, sentence construction, etc. It's a class in high school, referred to as secondary schooling in other countries.
and why the hell would you settle for a GED? just deal with ENG4, pass the minimum and just get a HS diploma.
Also, I took French in HS and a few yrs after graduating, I forgot most of it. I should've focused more on perfecting my Spanish, especially since using it less and less is causing me to stumble on sentences.

I'm home schooled, so I don't know if an HS diploma is an option for me. At least, that's what my mom says.

You can get a diploma from home schooling if you care enough to do it right, she probably didnt.

illness? is it mental or physical? i myself have aspergers autism, its why im homeschooled.
but if its mental trust me, youll love being homeschooled. it will mostly be on your clock too, or at least it should be. :)

it really all depends on what you want to do after HS. if you plan on going to college or a university, then get the HS diploma. it's a bit odd that ur parents decided to homeschool you b/c of ur aspergers. i know a few ppl who have it and went to a public/private HS and they turned out fine.

dude, public school was the worst ****ing time of life, from 1st grade until 7th when my parents pulled me out and into homeschooling. a complete nightmare. the school system had no ****ing idea how to handle autism and the kids were incredibly sadistic ****s. every day was solid ****ing torture from teachers and other kids and i also ended missing out on a lot (theres stuff i should know but i dont).
