Seems Michael Mansion liberately wants it to be hard to hear his lyrics - just check the Places We Go Through thread down there and I remember how we struggled with Let Me In, too.
I'm trying to crack the 2 Best Friends lyrics and a part of me thinks it's a man singing about wanting another man but maybe I'm just not hearing it all right. XD
Anyone got a good shot?
Also speaking of 2 Best Friends - is it just me or does this tune lack bass? It's like it forever builds then goes into breakdown and builds again and then outro. I love the tune but it's like it has no bass.

I was having a listen of the clip today on Juno have to agree the lyrics to this choon are hard to master out.

I never thought these words were too hard to figure out to be honest. Just the first line of the track is a nightmare.
If you get the jist of the story though the lyrics become more clear. Its about a love triangle, two guys who love the same girl but they are all best friends and the guy singing is the best man on their wedding day and he has to stand by and watch it happen even though he feels that she may love him too.

I had the first verse completely wrong... o.O Great job, I got that it was a love triangle but not the specifics like they're gonna get married, never caught those words. XD
Think the first words might be something with "Should have been"?

Jesus. Mansion is one HELL of a good songwriter.
I've known the words to this song, and sung along to it countless times before - but I've never bothered to actually piece it all together. Listening to the song, whilst looking at the lyrics infront of me - man, what a tune.
Does anyone know if he's got any new releases in the pipeline? I can pretty much masturbate to any tune he produces.

Actually, another tiny thing lol - I got the same thing mostly but I think it's "Tears of joy ARE not the kind I wanna cry". Because that makes more sense.
Is that seriously the first line? Thank you. That has always bothered me.
I also totally JUST got this song omg...I thought it was the guy singing to the other guy xD
