havn't been to a rave in a year an 2 options have popped up for this weekend, keep in mind i don't have a job so i will have to spend the week collecting cans and bottles to get ticket money....
the first event is called demolitions. it's on saturday night 9pm-3am 180sk to get in (about 18 pounds) and appears to be in a propper venue (nightclub)
Line-up:

go with the cheaper one, chances are sane tunes will be played throughout the night anyway... ruffneck nxt time maybe?

yeah i'm starting to lean towards the cheaper one, i'm gonna get allot more music for my money, i might even be able to afford a beer :p
and being on 2 nights in a row i can sus it out on Friday and then maybe return on saturday with some form of drink hidden on my person...
parties like that tend to have a better atmosphere than ur standard nightclub party anyway.
i think i've found my weekends entertainment :D

yeah i still have my connections, talk to people back there every now and then and i like to keep an eye on what's happening in sydney. are you after anything in particular?

Have you looked on partyflock? You might be able to find something cheaper than 40sk.

nah, didn't know about that site, cheers mate. i've only just started putting my feelers out into the göteborg/europe scene a few days ago.
just had a look on partyflock and they have an impressive list of upcoming events. still looking for work at the moment so i have to stick to parties that i can get to on my trusty bicycle....
but once i'm cashed up i'll be flying all over europe :p

That site doesn't tend to carry many hardcore events but it should be able to point you to some other good events and venues to look out for.

yeh, a few of the less comercialised stuff. ie. not powerhouse or q-dance or tiesto, but rather a warehouse and $15-$30 entry that pays for venue hire and equiptment. Nothing to specific on genre, though I'm a fan of hard trance. I could probably learn something going to home occasionally, but my fridays are usually taken up.

you can also check www.imaraver.com.au it's a site that weaver started a couple years ago that lists pretty much all the upcoming events around australia :)
