I honestly couldn't care less, so much so that I didn't bother watching any of them.
Your post on basing it on nothing has enlightened me.
As well, any song by Lil'Wayne will automatically die in hell for a thousand centuries.
lol Lil' Wayne! do u happen to watch TMZ? they went out to find if there were any fans waiting outside for him to be released from jail and they only found one. She was this young white girl who made a better fan for miley cyrus lol!
seriously tho, as ghetto as he is, most of his fans are suburban kids who know nothing about living in an urban environment it's hilarious! all the college white girls love him lol!
and @ Atomsk: i wasn't referring to you on that comment. i was referring more to the ppl who were commenting on the youtube page where the video directly comes from.

What's wrong with some sluts singing? Same goes for guys when they sing about that stuff.
Regardless of whether you agree with the topic of the singing choice, some people do actually like it.
At the end of the day, it's just music.
Also, I'd fck em'

I think what you're looking at is pop music basically panicking to produce something original as more people start to get into their own favorite genres of music as opposed to just whatever is popular.
Doesn't interest me really, I still haven't listened to and have no intention of listening to lady gaga or whatever to be honest. Pop/rock music just feels like one big farce to me, they can do what they want but I'm not having any part of it.

This is just my opinion, but music now a days is based upon the importance of lyrics. I don't know why this rap-pop-rock beat style is even popular, its lazy.
And you know what, people only like the song and other crap in its genre because of the lyrics. "Ooh, it speaks to me."
"That is so true!"
"The lyrics practically makes the song."
Bull*****. If people wanted to listen/read to some crappy love song or some emo chick, just read a damn poem. There's more creativity in poems then there are in music, and those two are just as equally difficult to make. What the hell?

I've come across this outlook on music and it makes no sense. "This song sucks, there's no words in it." Some people just can't appreciate music apparently.

How is this even music? It makes me lose hope in women, and even people. This doesn't look good for anyone, is this what people want to see and hear? Shit is getting sad.
Thoughts?
The words escape me...

That song is off one fo the bst albums ever though, there are some bloody amazing songs in it, relax included..
Plus that album came out in an era in which sex was becoming more a part of culture (although it was getting bad press with AIDs). It seems that people are just jumping on the sex bandwagon now because it's sold so well in the past (60s, 80s) and is due a 'comeback'.
I'm ashamed of the era of music I have grown up in, i'd give anything to have been born in 1972.

At least their singing about them just getting paid and wanting to get laid, as opposed to them being just snobs that want to screw the lower class as the rappers do

I heard a hip hop remake of Video Killed the Radio Star on the radio today. It hit me right in my vulnerable 80s spot up until I heard the hip hop kick and the repeated 'Look at what I got!' phrase.
Gawdamn Pop music needs to stop sampling. At least the 90s' slow jams were ****ing ORIGINAL.
