List your top 5 albums of the year!

Mine in no particular order:

01. Goldfrapp - Head First
- No commercial success but lovely 80s influenced electronic pop. Hugely uplifting for the most part. Not my fave Goldfrapp album, though.

02. Eisbrecher - Eiszeit
- German dance-metal at its best, I love Eisbrecher. Like with Goldfrapp, not my favourite by Eisbrecher but one of the best of 2010 nonetheless. Love the title track, the verses are sooo sweet. Check it out! :)

03. Conjure One - Exilarch
- Been waiting for a new Conjure Album for maybe 5 years or so, and luckily it doesn't disappoint. First track "Like Ice" is the best by far, and vocals for the last track "Oligarch" are interesting... Sounds like "Holy cocks". Haha.

04. Pendulum - Immerzion
- Possibly the album of the year for me. A good variety of styles and sounds, and I enjoy almost every tune. Closer tune "Encoder" is one of Pendulum's best, along with "Set Me On Fire".

05. Hardcore Underground presents 2010
- Had to include a hardcore album here, sadly I can't get my hands on Fracus & Darwin's album yet but I'm sure it'd make the list. Love CD1 and CD2, while CD3 has some good tunes.

Massive Attack - Heligoland is an honorary mention but I thought it was poor compared to Mezzanine and 100th Window whilst not being a bad album at all, just in comparison to older material.

GRUM - "Heartbeats" (Probably one of Scotlands finest acts with no fillers on the Album. Is uplifting Electro and House with a big 80's influence. Production is amazing too!!)

BAG RAIDERS - Headlined many Aussie dance festivals and their Album is quality from start to finsish. Mixture of House and Electro. Love tracks "way back home" and "shooting stars" Doing Australia proud:)

ATB - 'Future memories" - Andre really is a master with productions. Very ground breaking tunes from Drum n Bass style Trance to Ambient and Chillout.

2 UNLIMITED - "Greatest Hits" - Having been a Eurodance tragic since I was 15. Was great to see this Album out. All the classics from them on here like "Twilight Zone" and "Magic Friend" For an act so old, they still sound great by todays standards.

HTID 3 - One of my favourite hardcore Albums. Love the Electro influences in Recons set and flawless mixing and production on Squad-e's cd. Plenty of bass too, which a lot of the other independent Hardcore Albums sadly lack.
