has anyone else noticed this? its so fecking annoying, for example. My little brother, instead of saying owned he actually says powned. He sounds like a retard, ive tried explaining the pwned origins and that it has nothing to do with actualy being pronounced like that but still inists on sounding like a twat.
and my sister saying fml a the bloody time! is this what our english language is going to be reduced to? I BLOODY HOPE NOT!
does anyone else find this annoying or is it just me?

Well it's annoying but understandable really. What i can never understand is when people say 'lol', the whole point is that it's letters to describe an action, the mind boggles.

yea enit, surely if you say lol, then it wasnt something to be laughed at anyway, else they would have.
I envision years on when people just speak in abbreviations and whatnot, oh well. I shall carry on safe in the knowledge that i can get through a sentence without abbreviations, lol (see i have no problem with it in its proper place)

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.
