How much longer are people going to go on about Flip n Fill. What's happened has happened so just forget about it. Going on about it won't change anyhthing.
And another thing, just because someone does something you don't like it
dosn't make them a bad person does it. You would think form what everyone thinks here that Flip n Fill are evil or something.

get over flipn fill , so what they did a remix of shooting star so what it possibly destroyed a goood happy hardcore song u cant do anything about it. So lets move on with our lives and generate better tracks then SHooting Star to show how pwerful happy hardcore really is rather then just using the one track as some momentary imagery/symbolism

tbh im sick of the orig SS now as ive heard it so many times now on tape packs and raves. its nice to hear a diffrent style of it.
and you know all the money that they earn from letting SS get remixed will go into hardcore.

You are forgetting one tiny thing.. Flip & Fill are NOT Hardcore, and have never pretended to be. Therefore, how is liking Flip & Fill turning your back on Hardcore?
Are you not allowed to express a like for other styles of music, if you like Hardcore, bit narrow minded innit?

Rite, I agree with a few ppl on here. I h8 Flip n Fill and wont sit an listen to their version of Shooting Star, but you're all forgetting that there are better tunes out there in the scene now than Shooting Star and more an more are being made. Take 'You're Shining' for example. In my opinion its the best tune to be released since 1998. The best thing to do is to stop talking about Shooting Star and Flip n Fill. Yeah, Shooting Star was a fantastic tune back in the day and will go down as one of the best hardcore tunes ever but we have to move forward. Not only for the sake of stopping silly arguments like this arrising but so the scene can progress more and more. Its coming along nicely now. How about we stop chattin about Flip n Fill and talk about better things that dont waste our time n brain cells! Like new hardcore tunes an the new Bonkers album or events. ANYTHING but FLIP n FILL!

Good point! I totaly agree with you! The reason being, Atomic Kitten havent ripped any Hardcore tune that our scene loved an adored for so long! Flip n Fill did an as far as Im concerned, did it badly too! Fair enuf, it brought attention to the hardcore scene an we're greatfull, but I dont like them wotsoever!

I guess I see it differently mate... when I heard the shooting star vocals on tv.. it made me beam with pleasure that after the many years of hardcore ripping off other genres/pop - the reverse is finally happening..
Yes... Hardcore is now good enough to be covered by other genres... it is a sign of the times :)

Kind of! I guess its also as sign that Hardcore is a growing scene that is getting recognision from all genres. Ive got mix mag for next month an the Hardcore article in that is spot on! We are getting bigger n bigger by the minute!

Too right. An I think it feel sbetter for us lot coz weve been part of the scene (meaning listenig an ravin) for years an years. Weve been there in the bad times an the good times. The good times are truly back now and Im glad to be Hardcore threw n threw!!!
