When i try to restore my phone it keeps saying
End all active calls an connections
Ive tried everything, does anyone know what this means or how to get around it ?
Im trying to restore my phone because my OVI store wont work an ive deleted all my default apps, trying to get them back..

try this:
"I now have my N97 working as well as it has ever worked! Following my previous post (I had updated the firmware to V2.0 which was ok but I could no longer make or receive calls.) I fixed it as follows:
Hard Reset *#7370# (it didn't work straight away as each time I tried I got the message 'End All active calls and Connections First'. This can be cured by removing all widgets from the Home Screen (thanks to cgsuk for advising me how to do that!)
Having completed a Hard Reset I checked the firmware version on my phone *#0000# and found V2.0 was still installed.
I then restored my data to the phone from my Backup using Ovi Suite. Unfortunately this left me back at square one - unable to make or receive calls! The trick is not to restore everything.
Repeat the steps above until restoring from Backup. Check all items except 'device settings and applications' and carry out restore.
I did that and my phone is working perfectly. I have had to manually re-install my applications but everything is working fine.

you haven't explained what mobile you've got...
end all calls and connections means that if your not on the fone then your internet is still active... deactivate it and see what happpends

its a Nokia
since it has OVI store I'd say its one of the newer semi/fully smart phones ones.
have you asked Nokia, perhaps ask your network to see if theres anything wrong with ur number

obviously its a Nokia but how can u assume its an N97 because of ovi? Nokia us a massive brand and there's shit loads of Nokias

u assume its an N97 because of ovi?
i didnt, if you mean 'u' informally, probably because its the more obvious choice, hes talking about apps etc
it would be helpful to know the specific model for the sake of people might knowing the answer.
