im liking this hardcore stuff. going to start djing sometime soon and am looking for good music. ive been listening to the clubland xtreme hardcore 1 and darren styles stuff and a little basshunter. any other suggestions?
i also am liking the *bit stuff ive heard. takes me back to the 8bit gaming days hahaha
any certain djs i should check out? been checking out cotts and ravine

basshunter is NOT hardcore!
check out labels such as: hardcore Underground, Next Generation, Blatant Beats, Australia With Force (AWF) while it's still around, Twista has some good tracks on there still, Muffin Music, Essential Platinum, etc
Darwin is a definite dj/producer to check out as well as fracus

Look for Crush On Hardcore labums, thats a free way to get into it. Also look for Cotts and Ravine or whoever elses mixes on Youtube.

Have a listen to my AMX series (search this forum), not to listen to my mixing but just to get a good cross section of the music. It should give you a good insight into some good tracks and producers.

You sound like you'd love the HTID (Hardcore 'Til I Die) CDs, there are 3 of them so far. Not particularly my kind of thing but if you like Darren Styles they'll be right up your alley!
Look on soundcloud for hardcore mixes! They normally have tracklistings too so you can identify which tracks you like!
Try and get any mixes/CD packs associated with HTID (HTID In The Sun) and Raverbaby. You'll probably love them! The more mixes you get the more tracks you'll find that you like, then you will notice that a lot of them probably come from the same labels, so you can look at that label and seek out other stuff that you'll like too!

could think of a better more busy website to join with regards to hardcore. Even the owner of this site is around much anymore to monitor. But hey that's just my opinion.

if you listen to S3RL's music back in 2008, Basshunter IS hardcore :P
